Curated by Lisa Williamson the director of Tomasulo Gallery, my show at UCC exposes paintings from various wonderlands…some depict the royal bedrooms from French castles, some cute, little yet abandoned churches, and some from talk about my Alice in Wonderland/Yellowstone N.P. story…

Journey of Faith Exhibition
OSilas Gallery at Concordia College–New York invites you to embark on a Journey of Faith
Throughout art history, religion has played a vital role in providing artists with spiritual and intellectual resources. Artists have responded with works that honor religious traditions as well as invite reflection.
This fall at OSilas Gallery, the relationships between religion and art will be featured in the exhibition Journey of Faith. The exhibition will highlight the creation of visual interpretations of Christian faith. Journey of Faith will consist of two complementary exhibitions. One will take a narrative journey through art inspired by the Gospels and the other will be a modern journey of faith undertaken by four Bronxville congregations and a number of regional artists.
The Bronxville Reformed Church, Christ Church, Saint Joseph’s Church, and Village Lutheran Church have collaborated with OSilas Gallery to create a community dialogue that explores the concept of faith and visual art. As part of the Journey of Faith, these four congregations have opened their doors and invited participating artists to reflect and be inspired by the art and architecture found within the worship space. Artists have created an original work of art in response to their experience. Members of the community are invited to join into the dialog of Journey of Faith by reflecting on these finished works of art.
Participating artists include:
Elena Agostinis, LaThoriel Badenhausen, Ebitenyefa Baralaye, Joseph Dermody, Randy Frost, David Galalis, Mary Mihelic, Michelle Arnold Paine, Leslie Pelino, Luis Perelman, Gene Schmidt, Vadis Turner, and Joanna M. Wezyk
